White Island Classics

2026 Season

Booking, Cancellation & Weather Policy

Last updated June 2026

Reservation & Payment

To confirm a charter reservation, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to departure. For bookings made within 7 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Guest Cancellation Policy

  • More than 30 days prior to departure: full refund of all monies paid, less any non-refundable third-party expenses incurred on behalf of the guest.
  • 15–30 days prior to departure: 50% of the total charter fee will be retained.
  • 14 days or fewer prior to departure: the full charter fee becomes non-refundable.

Changes to Reservations

Where operationally possible, White Island Classics will endeavour to accommodate changes to departure dates or times. Changes requested more than 14 days prior to departure may be transferred to an alternative available date within the same season, at the discretion of White Island Classics. Only one date transfer is permitted per booking.

Weather Policy

The safety and comfort of our guests and crew will always take precedence. If, in the professional judgement of the Captain, weather or sea conditions are deemed unsuitable for the safe operation of the yacht, guests will be offered one of the following options:

  • Rescheduling to an alternative available date within the same season; or
  • A credit voucher valid for 12 months; or
  • A full refund.

The Captain's decision regarding weather suitability shall be final. Light rain, cloud cover, or a forecast differing from actual local conditions shall not automatically constitute grounds for cancellation.

Cancellation by White Island Classics

In the unlikely event that White Island Classics is required to cancel a charter due to unforeseen operational circumstances, guests will be offered either a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule to an alternative available date. White Island Classics' liability shall be limited to the amount paid directly to White Island Classics for the affected booking.

Concierge & Broker Bookings

White Island Classics welcomes reservations through approved concierge partners, travel advisors, villa managers and brokers. Where a booking has been made through an authorised third party, cancellation requests must be submitted through the original booking source. Refunds due to the guest will apply only to amounts received by White Island Classics, excluding any applicable partner commissions where relevant.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows

Guests are requested to arrive at the agreed departure location at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Late arrivals may reduce the duration of the charter experience. No refunds shall be provided for unused charter time resulting from guest delays or failure to attend.

Force Majeure

White Island Classics shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or inability to perform arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather events, government restrictions, port closures, industrial action, acts of war and public health emergencies. In such circumstances, White Island Classics will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the experience or provide a future credit where appropriate.

Acknowledgement

By confirming a reservation, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood and accepted these Booking, Cancellation & Weather Terms.
