Designed by Charles Livingstone for his own use she was named ‘Molita’ at her launch.  She sailed without a motor until 1920 and was converted to a Marconi ketch rig in 1936.  She spent over 100 years sailing the west coast of Scotland during which time she passed through a number of owners.  In 2003 she was bought by her current owner, Tim Liesenhoff.  He restored her back to her original gaff cutter rig and renamed her ‘Marigan’ after his 4 children.  Based in Palma de Mallorca she is cruised and raced when time permits.
