Based on the design of th 42′ masthead sloop “Whirlaway of Percull” that won the 1963 Fastenet.  Argos, named in honour of the legendary ship of Jason and the Argonauts, was built for two Spanish families who owned her for 8 years before going in search of a larger yacht.

Known to be “better suited to offshore conditions”, robust and seaworthy, her ability is reduced in light conditions but “better once the waves grow and the others begin to suffer”.  Her owner, Luciano, has campaigned her successfully for years in Mediterranean regattas and has won many trophies.
