A new destination for the classics

Ibiza is known as the “White Island” from the salt flats created by the Phoenicians in the 6th Century BC which put it on the map as one of the most important strategic ports in the Mediterranean.
The iconic skyline of Ibiza’s ancient walled fortress (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) provided the perfect backdrop for the first White Island Classics in April 2017.
We brought together a number of classic yachts for three days of racing around the islands of Ibiza and Formentera in a distinctly relaxed regatta honouring the values that we believe are at the heart of classic sailing with family and friends.
Held at the end of spring, when Ibiza comes alive but remains uncrowded, the WIC has been embraced by locals and visitors alike.  The event embodies the spirit of the island, offering something for everyone, both on and off the water, and will now become an annual fixture in the Ibiza social calendar.
Plans are underway for next White Island Classics which will take place from 25th – 29th April 2018 in Marina Botafoch.  To register your interest click here.
